The yellow&blue work carries on looking at the challenge against Codyeco Santa Croce this sunday at PalaOlimpia.
Santa Croce comes from two consecutive home rounds: the first one lost for 3-0 against Mantova and the second one won for 3-1 against Pineto; Verona, after 4 consecutive victories in the championship, has been stopped in Bassano, a match that saw 500 of their supporters following the team.
Spiker Gato comments onhis performance: “We need to forget about Bassano, we are still alive and the championship is not over. Now we will face the match on sunday with great intensity, the one that was missing in Bassano, we will try and get three points keeping the concentration on our work, then we will think about the other matches of the round.
Santa Croce has played a godd match in the first leg, we had some problems, but now we all want to play a good match and get the result”.
Three rounds away from the end, Verona is preparing to meet S. Croce then Cagliari and Spoleto at home for the last round on the 25th of april. Gato explains: In these last few rounds, everyone will play with a knife between their teeth, we need to show some aggressiveness and be ready to react when attacked like it happened last sunday”.
