Volley Market 2013/14: fixture list and novelties
The 13th edition of the Volley Market in Bentivoglio’s Zanhotel ended with the presentation of the fixture list of the 69th Serie A season.
“Our attention is focused on the future – president Mosna said – This will be a season in which many youngsters will have the chance to showcase their skills”.
There has been a significant surprise in the event as the Italian Volleyball League invited the representatives of the supporters of the 12 A1 clubs. They helped presenting the first two rounds of the season as well as their own club rosters. This proved to be a much appreciated initiative by everyone present.
Various awards were handed in too: to the newly promoted side in the A1, Molfetta, winner of the playoffs, to the newly promoted in the A2, Cantù, represented by President Ambrogio Molteni, and to Piacenza for its success in the Challenge Cup 2013.

The Stracca Award
The Strcca Award for the 2012-13 season, which is an acknowledgement given to the best press officer of the year was handed to Giusy Bertolotto (Cuneo) for the A1 and to Alberto Sanavia (Padova) for the A2.
