The time has come. Unipolsai Superleague Playoffs Semifinal Game 5 between Diatec Trentino and Sir Safety Conad Perugia is scheduled for tomorrow Saturday 22nd april at 18 at PalaTrento. Will be a classic no tomorrow game, the only chance for these two great teams to reach Cucine Lube Civitanova in the Superleague Final. Last wednesday at PalaEvangelisti in Perugia Lorenzo Bernardi’s team took home Game 4 with authority, but at PalaTrento will be different. On the home turf, Trento is still undefeated in this season, and they will not surrender easily. Both teams, with the elimination of Azimut Modena by the hands of Lube in Semifinal, will be part of next season Champions League, a great goal for both teams in season, whatever will be in Game 5. In a sold out PalaTrento these two great powerhouses will give all they will have to clinch the Unipolsai Superleague Big Final spot.

Final Four
This morning friday 21st april at Agsm Forum “Vip Lounge Hospitality”, took place the introduction of upcoming Play Off Challenge UnipolSai Final Four, which will take place next 23rd and 24th april in Verona. BluVolley Verona President Stefano Magrini, Lega Pallavolo Serie A Ceo Massimo Righi, Executive of Sport of city of Verona Alberto Bozza and Gruppo Agsm President Fabio Venturi were present, in a great partnership for these important event.
President of BluVolley Verona Stefano Magrini: “It is great for us to host this event, we deserved as club, for how we are working. It has been a tough season for us, but we are determined to fight back and win this competition. For us to play in Europe is fundamental, will be the turning point for us, the point from where we’ll restart again. Will be a big volleyball event, alot of people is booking the tickets”.
Lega Volley Ceo Massimo Righi said: “Verona is one of the best examples for us. When we started with Superleague we were looking for teams as Verona, economically healthy who’s looking to reach the best sport results. So it was easy for us to choose Verona as host of this Final Four. We don’t have to forget also taht Verona is European Cups oriented, and this made the things easier”.

LPR Piacenza ready for the adventure in Final Four, after the celebration of Hristo Zlatanov and Samuele Papi for the end of their careers. Alberto Giuliani’s team reached the semifinals winning 3-0 on Top Volley Latina, and now they’ll face the team from Lombardia, a tough opponent to play. Lpr won only 2 games out of 7 versus Gi Group Monza, a team who reached Final Four thanks to the great wins in Game 3 and Game 4 versus Exprivia Molfetta. Monza worked hard in practice during this week, and they are determined to reach the final.
Calzedonia Verona is the hosting team of Final Four, and they want to win in front of the home crowd at Agsm Forum. Nikola Grbic’s team and front office firmly want to come back in Italy, and win again Challenge Cup, after the great tie break win last april in Siberia. They will face Bunge Ravenna, qualified to the semifinals after a triple 3-1 to Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia. Fabio Soli’s team will face a tough challenge,playing versus a team who will have the fans by their side, and a team who defeated Ravenna 11 times in 17 total games. But never say never in volleyball, Bunge has power and strength, they can win versus everybody, if they play as they know.

Play Off Promozione
Caloni Agnelli Bergamo wasn’t able to repeat the great game 1 in Puglia, and lost a nervous Game 3 on road, but in Game 4 they will try to reach the historical Playoff Promozione Final in front of the home fans. Cavuto will need 5 more points to reach 440 points in season. BCC Castellana Grotte stayed in the series after the win in Game 3 on the home turf, stepping up in game 3 and forcing the series at least until Game 4 in Bergamo. Now Bcc will need to step up again to force the series to Game 5 and back to Puglia for the decisive no tomorrow game. In the meanwhile, for Castellana will the second no tomorrow game in this series.
Monini Spoleto had a great win in Game 3 at PalaEstra, with a great performance in the fundamentals of serve and defence, winning 3-1 on road and securing the match point in the series on the home turf at PalaRota.
