Great emotional game at BLM Group Arena in Trento in Semifinal Game 1 between World Champs Itas Trentino and Cucine Lube Civitanova, with the visiting team who escaped from Trentino Alto Adige with an important Game 1 win, taking the lead in the series. It was a tie break win for Ferdinando De Giorgi’s team, a thrilling 21-19 win in fifth set for Lube, running a monumental Tsvetan Sokolov, MVP and best scorer of the game with 36 points. Now the former italian champs are 1-0 in the series, looking forward Game 2 next friday at Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova. Trento will need to step up and stay focused on the series, trying to grab the tie in the count of the games.
