Eerik Jago, nato in Estonia ma trasferitosi con la famiglia all’età di 12 anni in Finlandia, ha già maturato grande esperienza nei campionati esteri. Suo padre è allenatore di pallavolo e ha cominciato a schiacciare i primi palloni in Finlandia, quando il suo lavoro lo portò a Salo. La carriera lo ha poi portato in Belgio prima ed in Olanda dove ha potuto mettersi in mostra con la maglia del Piet Zoomer
