Veteran fighter of thousends battles opposite Alessandro Fox Fei was the natural MVP of this Del Monte Serie A2 Italian Cup Final at Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno Bologna, which saw the win of Gas Sales Piacenza over Olimpia Bergamo, in an heartbeating tie break win for Alessandro Fei’s team, who as we said was the MVP of the game with 31 points put on the ground.
Piacenza was down 2-1 in the count of the sets, and in fourth Fei took his team on his shoulders and drove Piacenza to the tie break, where Fei stepped up once again taking in his hands the win of his team.
It was an amazing and high volleyball level final, between two of the top teams of the tournament. The best scorer for Olimpia Bergamo was young prospect Yuri Romanò with 27 points, a player who will make some waves at high level in the future.
