Cavriago reached an agreement with Italo-Cuban middleblocker Maikel Cristobal. Following Luppi’s injury, which will keep the player out till February, the club was desperate to find a good substitute. He will give a rest to Bossoli and Brugsthaler, who have done extra work of late, doing especially well in the last encounter with 16 blocks.
Maikel played 11 seasons in a row at the highest level, as Forli was his last stop. Born in the Avana, he tunred 33 last Monday 16 November. He will be introduced to the media and fans in the next few days and should be available for the game against Santa Croce next Sunday.
