The last trophy of 2010 goes to Cuneo, while the MVP award is for Alexander Volkov on his debut in an Italian competition.
In front of 4.600 fans in Turin’s PalaRuffini, the Italian champions, Cuneo, beat the World Champions in straight sets. A thrilling game between two teams that had not met since the V-Day, when Cuneo won the league last May. A great show was expected and the two teams fully met the expectations of the fans and experts. Cuneo won the Super Cup for the fourth time of its history.

Jan Stokr (Itas Diatec Trentino) : “Cuneo dominated during the whole game, we have always been a step behind. We were already under pressure in the first set with their serve. They had a better block-dig combination: there’s nothing much to say, they have been the best”.
Matey Kaziyski (Itas Diatec Trentino): “We struggled against their blockers, while we did not play well in that area of the game. We really found it hard to face their counters, and our serve was not sharp. All in all, they played better than us”.
