Perugia made another important move on the market with the addition of Vincenzo Tamburo. Born in 1985, the outside hitter is bound to become a fan favourite. Last season, he played for Santa Croce, which he helped win the Italian Cup and reach the playoff league final (lost against Padova). Tamburo also played for the Italian national team with which he won the Mediterranean Games in 2009.
