The friendly game against Vibo Valentia was positive and useful to prepare Sunday’s league game in Genova. In the end the top division team won 3-0 (20-25, 22-25, 19-25) but the fighting spirit and entertainment did not go amiss.
“We’re going to Genova aware that our opponent is looking to finish among the top places in the league table – said Gennaro Cilento – But I am also certain we will fight point after point. Last week, the boys showed character and proved they would give everything to reach the targets we set at the beginning of the season”.
