While the first week of pre-season training in Avellino has been extremely positive, middle blocker Diamantini celebrated qualification to the World Championships semi-finals with the Italian national team Under 21.
“The first impression is extremely good – said coach Totire at the end of the first week – We have a team that has a lot of character and we knew it when we brought in the players this summer. This won’t be an easy team to defeat. Now we’ll be waiting for the arrival of Bencz and Diamantini. Next week we’ll start to jump and add some tactical aspects”.
