Civitanova’s head coach, Gianlorenzo Blengini, has been appointed new head coach of the Italian national team following Mauro Berruto’s resignation. Blengini’s qualities had already earned him a place as assistant and now he will have a chance to lead Italy into the World Cup (8-23 September) and the European Championships 2015 to be played in Italy and Bulgaria from 9 to 18 October.
