Del Monte Boy League Final Eight
The 20th edition of the Del Monte Boy League – “Enrico Bazan Cup” – gets under way on Friday. Cesenatico will be the venue for the fourth consecutive year from March 20 to 22. The teams to take part in the Final Eight are: CMC Ravenna, Revivre Milano, Materdominivolley.it Castellana Grotte, Energy T.I. Diatec Trentino, Cucine Lube Banca Marche Treia, Sir Safety Perugia, Kio-Ene Padova and Cassa Rurale Cantù. Last year’s trophy went for the first time ever to a team from the Apulia region, the U14 team of Castellana Grotte. And to lift aloft the trophy they got rid of another Apulia team in the final, Molfetta.
The 8 qualified teams are listed according to a standing in which:
-From 1st to 4th are the teams that won their respective groups, ranked according to their results.
-From 5th to 8th the teams the teams that finished second.

Each team will meet each other once. Three sets will be played in each game no matter what. Each set is worth a point. On the other hand, the semi-finals and final will be played on the best of three (two sets needed to win).

Easter Eggs AIL
Italian Volleyball League supports the initiative
From March 20 to 22, the AIL association (Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma) will promote the XXII edition of “Easter eggs AIL”, placed under the patronage of the President of the Republic and realized thanks the efforts of thousands of volunteers who offer a chocolate egg to those who will pay a minimum contribution of a 12 euro membership. The AIL Easter eggs are characterized by the logo of the Association.
In all its years of existence, the event helped to raise significant funds for the support of research projects and assistance and helped to raise awareness on the progress made by the scientific research in the field of blood disorders.
The Italian Volleyball League will show its support this year again by giving voice to the initiative and putting the banner dedicated to the event on its official site, www.legavolley.it, which will lead directly to all the relevant information.
