On Saturday night, Mondovì will try to make it three wins in a row in Reggio Emilia following the superb 3-0 triumph over Tuscania. The first meeting coincided with Mondovì’s first ever win in the Serie A2 in the PalaManera arena (3-1). Outside hitter Francesco De Luca had been the star man with 65% in attack.

“Reggio Emilia has been doing extremely well of late – warned coach Mauro Barisciani – But this remains a team we can beat. Hopefully, we will do well and get something out of it. In the first meeting we deserved to win, they had a few injuries but we had been without Perla for a while too, so I’d say it was a fair encounter. Reggio is a good team but I repeat we have what it takes to win it”.
