2018 Champions League
After the clear win over Fenerbahce Istanbul, Cucine Lube Civitanova tied Sir Colussi Sicoma Perugia atop the standings in Pool A. Next wednesday 31st january Giampaolo Medei’s team will play in Stanbul versus Fenerbahce, looking forward to grab some points for the standings. After the tie break win in Belgium in last round, Sir Colussi Sicoma Perugia will play next wednesday 31st january at 20.30 at PalaEvangelisti versus Knack Roeselare, looking forward to a win trying to keep the top of the standings. Another team who’s coming from Del Monte Italian Cup Final Four is Trentino Diatec, in Pool E in second place behind Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle, looking forward the game versus Arkas Izmir, coached by Glenn Hoag (Nicholas father), and already defeated by Angelo Lorenzetti’s team in first Half round. Next thursday at 17 (italian time) the game in Izmir.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FORMAT
Two preliminary rounds (2nd e 3rd Round) will choose 20 teams for the Pool Round, 5 groups with 4 teams.
First and second of each group, together with the best 2 thirds. CEV will choos the Final Four host in these 12 teams, who will be opne of the four teams, and third best tshird will replace the hosting team.
Final rounds will be PlayOffs 12, PlayOffs 6 and Final Four.
Fox International Channels Italy has the tv rights of Champions League, and will broadcast the games of italian teams on Fox Sports HD, 204 SKY, Fox Sport Plus, 205 SKY and Sky Sport 3 HD, 203 SKY (all games are available on streaming on www.laola1.tv)
