At honour room in CIO Committee in Roma has been introduced the next upcoming CEV Champions League SuperFinals, which will take place at AGSM Forum in Verona next upcoming 1st of May.

Two italian teams will be present in two finals for men and ladies. For the men Trentino Itas will face polish Grupa Azoty Kedzierzyn-Kozle, for the ladies Imoco Volley Conegliano will face turkish VakifBank Istanbul.

State Secretary of sport Valentina Vezzali was obviously present to this great introduction, said: “as a woman, as a sportgirl, I’m so proud to be here and introducing this such great event as Champions League SuperFinals. Our country needs sport, it’s the best way to come back to life. It was awful to stay sat in this year, for everybody, especially for the youngsters, who suffered more than everybody this situation. Now slowly we are trying to stand up and re start, and big event as this are the most important things, to gain confidence and understanding we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, I also want to thank CEV President Boricic to give trust to our country to set up this event”.

CEV President Aleksandar Boricic said: “we are proud to communicate we increased the prize money for this event, setting it at 4.8 euros, as a kind of respect to all the clubs who participate to the tournament”.
