Countdown to the start of the VNL 2022 (Volleyball Nations League) which will experience its first week in Brazil and Canada. Some players of the Cucine Lube Civitanova will return to the field with the jersey of their respective national teams to face the prestigious tournament.
The central Simone Anzani, the free Fabio Balaso, the hitter Mattia Bottolo and the opposite Ivan Zaytsev will represent Italy, the setter Luciano De Cecco will wear the jersey of Argentina, with which he centered the third place in Tokyo, while the central Bartholomy Chinenyeze, made official over the weekend by the Cooking Club, will wall with the French sextet back from Olympic gold in Japan. The three selections will certainly face each other at least once because they are all included in Pool 2.
Argentina will debut on Wednesday 8 June in Ottawa (22.30 Italian time) against Poland. On the same pitch, Italy and France will face each other in their debut scheduled for Thursday 9 June at 1.30 am with live volleyballworld.tv and Sky Sport Uno. The blues face to face with De Cecco’s Argentina is scheduled for Sunday 12 June, at 8 pm, again in Ottawa, with live volleyballworld.tv and Sky Sport Uno.
