Alessandro Stufano is still in the middle: of the project, of the programs, of the future. And especially the parquet. The DRL Volley Team has confirmed the centre-back native of Bari, protagonist of a season – the first for him in Serie A3 – truly to be framed: his 21 appearances with 58 sets played, enriched by 119 points, 5 winning services and 16 walls. His peak? The 13 points scored in Brugherio on the occasion of the success in four partials against Gamma Chimica, in which the twenty-year-old from Bari attacked by touching 60 percent and sending a set of blocks to the scoresheet.

«In Belluno – says Stufano – I had a great time, even from a human point of view. Companions, companies, managers made me feel at home. And if the ambition of the company is added to such a solid bond, it is clear that I am happy to extend my adventure at DRL». The central player was the great revelation of last year: «On an individual level I feel I’ve grown a lot. I’ve improved in many ways, thanks to the work done in the gym: that’s why I want to thank coach Colussi and the club for believing in me. I’m sorry, however, that I missed the playoffs by just one point: I still feel a bit of regret now. Even if from now on we’ll have to think about what’s to come, without looking at the past».

Stufano, in this period, is in his native Puglia, where he keeps fit by playing beach. But he is already projected towards next year: «The team is getting stronger and the transfer campaign is significant, as evidenced by the inclusion of the Polish spiker Bucko. For my part, I want to continue to grow and improve. I will always give my best, starting with training. Because it is in the sessions, during the week, that the difference is made. In addition, I would like to repay the club for their trust and gain some satisfaction for themselves».
