The 5th Place Play Off opens with the preliminary round, a three-team group with first leg and second leg matches. The teams that finished the Regular Season between 9th and 11th place are in contention: Cisterna, Padova and Taranto. The team that wins the preliminary phase will participate in the Play Off Group in 5th place with the four teams eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Scudetto Play Offs. A pass for the 2024 Challenge Cup is up for grabs.
