The championship ended just under a month ago and it’s already time to think about the next one: “One Team One City One Dream” is the claim with which Allianz Milano launches its season ticket campaign for the 2023/2024 sports season. A strong, iconic phrase that plays on the word “One”, or the number one, which in addition to being printed on the shirt of Superlega MVP Matey Kaziyski, Italian champion and new signing of coach Piazza’s team, represents the uniqueness of the whole Powervolley project in Milan, its strength and the cohesion of a team, which makes the supporters’ hearts beat faster. Team and project, which maintain a close bond more than ever with the city of Milan, guaranteeing a unique show within the Allianz Cloud, but also many initiatives with and for young people, and with the realities that operate in the social sector.
“Now we’re trying together and we need the public’s push” comments the president of Allianz Milano, Lucio Fusaro. “We made a further effort on the wave of enthusiasm of the last sports season. We all still have the playoff series against Perugia and Civitanova in our eyes. The roster has been further strengthened. Last year, these days, we said that sooner or later we would reach the elite of Italian volleyball. We did, and now we want to consolidate this position, but we need everyone’s help.”
“For the third time in a row, thanks to the Diavoli Power project, our youngsters are under-17 Italian champions – adds Fusaro – we care a lot about the youth sector, but also about our veterans, Old Stars, who are always among the first to subscribe and support us. When a boy or girl signs up for one of our mini-volleyball courses at the Power Volleyball Academy, I always wish them that they can live a sporting experience with the same emotion and friendship up to my age, from grandson to grandfather. This too makes us unique in Milan” concludes Fusaro.
“One Team, One City, One Dream or: Team, City and Dream, which are Allianz Milano – explains sporting director Fabio Lini – In the first year at 100% capacity in the arenas, we had incredible success with the public. A lively, active audience, which from a spectator has turned into a supporter and supporter. A bond that the team also perceived in the playoff games that were always sold out. Let me give special thanks to the Federation (Fipav) for the effective collaboration and to the sports promotion bodies, with the CSI taking the lion’s share”.
