Love for volleyball, brotherhood, unbridled energy, and an unwavering passion for the red and white colors. Sunday’s “Lube nel Cuore Day” event left a legacy of a strong sense of belonging and the euphoria of sharing a faith among like-minded fans. Signs of attachment were evident in the Italian vice-champion club, which attended the event in the afternoon with a delegation of athletes.
A full day on the beach at the “Ai Due Re” chalet pizzeria in Civitanova Marche was made memorable by the highly successful debut of the Burraco tournament, with eight tables filled with players, and the third edition of “Lube nel Cuore on the Beach,” a 4-on-4 volleyball tournament on the sand featuring 12 teams. Almost hoarse from the cheering, Giuliana Grifantini, president of Lube nel Cuore, after thanking the fans, launched the invitation: “I’ll be waiting for you all at the Palas!”
Among the highlights of the long day, it’s worth mentioning the presence of sports journalist Gianluca Pascucci in his unusual role as referee and scorekeeper, but above all, the surprise visit to the beach tournament by a favorite of the Predators, center-half Marko Podrascanin, who supported the teams with his friendly demeanor, offering technical advice and joking with the fans on several occasions.
