The cheers of joy following the 3-0 victory in the first leg of the Challenge semifinal against Altekma SK Izmir were shattered by the injury suffered by Francesco “Checco” Recine, who ruptured his left Achilles tendon during the third set. The entire Allianz Milano family’s first thoughts, of course, go to Checco, wishing him the best of luck in his recovery from injury. The club’s medical and physiotherapy staff are by his side to monitor his progress.
