Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza will take to the court tomorrow evening, Wednesday, February 18th, at 8:30 PM against Poland’s Jastrzebski Wegiel in the second leg of the CEV Cup Playoffs. To secure qualification for the quarterfinals, Porro and his teammates will only need to win two sets, following their 3-1 away win last week against the Polish team.
Jastrzebski, currently sixth in the Polish league, is coming off a third-place finish in last year’s Champions League and boasts experienced players: setter Toniutti (Olympic gold medalist) and Kaczmarek, who form the main lineup; along with spikers Kujundzic and Gierzot.
