Taranto signed yet another player: Indeed on Tuesday night the arrival of US setter Donald Suxho became official. American but born in Albania, Suxho is 33 years old and played for Albania until 1996. He then moved to America and took the American nationality. He started with the national team of the USA in 2002, won the gold medal in the Norceca Tournament (North + Center America + Caribbean) and the silver in the Grand Champions Cup in 2005. He was the sportsman of the year too.
He made his European debut in 2004-05 in Turkey, then moved to Greece before arriving in Italy (Montichiari). In 2007-08, he was in Greece again with Patras and was recently seen in Turkey with Arkas. The Us setter will be the one to serve latest signing Rivaldo. “This is a fancy pair of players which should give us great satisfaction” said Chairman Bongiovanni.
