First, historic participation in the Del Monte® Junior League for Delta Volley Porto Viro. On Wednesday 2 April at 7 pm, the black and fuchsia Under 20 team from Delta Group – Il Patio will debut in the top men’s youth volleyball tournament, reserved for Serie A clubs, challenging their peers from Conad Reggio Emilia at the Pala Anderlini in Modena. This is the first leg of the first qualifying round: the return match will be played on Tuesday 8 April at the Palasport in Porto Viro, starting at 8 pm. In the event of a tie at the end of the two matches, the Golden Set will be played.
In the control room, the Polesani will be able to count on Pietro Ghirardi, a 2005 class setter already playing for the first team. The athlete from Brescia will join the U19/U20 group led by Andrea Boscolo, who is doing well in both the regional Serie D championship and the interprovincial Under U19 championship.
The Head of the Delta Volley youth sector, Massimo Zambonin, expressed his satisfaction as follows: “Participating in the Junior League is the achievement of a very important goal and demonstrates the quality of the three-year project that we are carrying out with these kids, in collaboration with Adria Volley.
