The Club wishes to publicly address the match against Consar Ravenna and the subsequent complaint.

First, it should be noted that this initiative was never motivated by the desire to challenge the refereeing’s conduct on grounds of fraud. On the contrary, the complaint arose exclusively from the belief, developed during the match, that the game had been played in unequal conditions, a circumstance we believe to be objective and which impacted the perception of sporting fairness.

In this context, it seems appropriate to highlight how the management of the game itself effectively acknowledged the existence of a critical issue: if the opposing team was allowed not to occupy the portion of the pitch affected by infiltration, this constitutes an objective element confirming the presence of a potential risk. It is precisely in light of this situation that the Club deemed it legitimate to invoke the fundamental principles of regularity, fairness, and equality of playing conditions.

The President deemed it appropriate to proceed in this manner, also in light of a climate that, starting in the second set, appeared particularly tense and characterized by what was perceived as aggressive behavior on the part of the opposing team.

Only today, however, have new elements emerged that provide a better understanding of what happened. It was reported that, at the end of the first set, a manager of our Club allegedly used inappropriate verbal language toward a Ravenna player, who had indicated his desire not to continue play on a slippery area of the court.

In light of what has been learned, the President and the entire Club wish to offer their sincerest apologies to the Ravenna team for this incident, which does not reflect the values of fairness and respect that have always distinguished our club.

We also firmly reiterate that the complaint was in no way intended to call into question the professionalism of the refereeing team, whom we consider among the most qualified in Serie A2 in terms of competence, authority, and technical preparation.

The Company confirms its commitment to promoting the principles of sportsmanship, mutual respect, and fairness, both on and off the field.
