Veteran olympic medallist Matej Cernic with Maury’s

In Viterbo will arrive in next season a big champion, veteran of thousend battles, 38 year old Matej Cernic.
11 seasons in Superleague, 5 seasons in Russia, Poland, Turkey and Greece. 233 games with italian national team, silver medallist in Athens 2004, 2 european Championships (203 and 2005), a 2nd and a 3rd place in world League (2003 and 2004), a 2nd place in World Cup in 2003 and a 3rd place in Gran Champions Cup in 2005. With the clubs, a Russian title, Greek Cup and Greek Supercup, 2 Cev Cup (Modena and Dinamo Moscow), Mvp of Cev Cup with Dinamo Mosca, and 1 Challenge Cup with Perugia in 2010.
In last 4 seasons he played in Serie A2, trying to give some experience to young players, and so he will do in Viterbo.
