Sora was defeated in Crema but only at the tie-break, it therefore took a point and remains third. However, Bologna and Ravenna are right behind, the latter will be Sora’s next opponent away.
“We struggled to face their serve at the beginning – said captain Scappaticcio on the Crema game – We improved in reception in the second and third set and managed to clinch both at the end. Crema stepped up again in the fourth and earned a tie-break, worthy ending of a great game. We believed in our chances at 10-12 but then it went pear-shaped. Shame but I think a point in Crema is an excellent result”.
