Credem Banca Superleague, Serie A2 and Serie A3 are ready to start in the upcoming weekend.

After the long and productive off season, FIPAV President Giuseppe Manfredi said: “we had a bunch of medals in this summer, and for this I want to thank all the Superleague clubs, who are working hard in growing up with young prospects in the teams. The upcoming Superleague tournament will be a great championship with plenty of top players back in Italy, so we will have one of the best championships of last years”.

Unusual presenter middle blocker Matteo Piano interviewed italian national team head coach Fefè De Giorgi, who obviously talked about the fresh Eurovolley win in Poland.

The grandmaster of the event, Lega Volley Italian Volleyball League President Massimo Righi said: “our tournament is the top volleyball tournament in the world, and we are proud and happy to see our national team of Fefè De Giorgi full of youngsters, all products of our teams and our clubs. During the COVID emergency all our clubs were great, resisting in the worst moment of our sport history, keeping the trust in the League and in the unit of the clubs, and we won this challenge. It was weird and bad to see our government moves in this emergency, especially in lst times, when it was the moment to open and to give breath to the clubs, but without listening the needs of the indoor leagues, despite the big successes volleyball earned. we are still in trouble with the capacity of the arenas, and I want to thank all our presidents and clubs, but not the politics of our country, who didn’t treated our sport as it deserved.

 

After the words of Allianz Powervolley Milano head coach Roberto Piazza awarded of the trophy of best coach of last season, Itas Trentino spiker Alessandro Michieletto and japanese spiker Yuki Ishikawa, all protagonists of the summer volleyball, President Massimo Righi introduced Guido Betti and Finn Taylor, Chief business officer and CEO of Volleyball World, a reality which connect all the fans in the world to Superleague, knowing the potential of volleyball in the world, especially with the top volleyball tournament in the world.

Massimo righi said, abouth this: “we had an immediate interest in this platform, looking forward to the development of the spread of our tournament in the world. This is a big value for us, we are investing in this project hitting this path for at least two years. We will have all Superleague games in italian and in english language, toward the spread of our movement all around the world, it’s a big challenge for us and for all the italian volleyball world”.
