At the end of a superb career, after the last seven seasons played with the number 15 shirt of the Atlantide Volleyball Brescia, not seeing him on the field on October 9 will be really unusual, but Alberto Cisolla has agreed to chase away all melancholy and not to stray too far from taraflex del San Filippo to stay at the side of the company with the unprecedented role of Ambassador! The company announced the new role of “Ciso” to the press on Thursday at the McDonald’s restaurant in Campo Grande in Brescia.

His great communication skills – confirmed by his career as a commentator for Sky and DAZN -, the charisma and experience that made him a leader on the pitch, are the talents that will make him valuable for the club even outside the pitch.

The 2022/2023 season will not be able to celebrate its aces on match points, shot with immovable confidence, or the class shots that no opponent’s block has learned to contain, but Ciso will still be the protagonist of the sporting year of the Consoli McDonald’s Centrale del Latte. He will play a role oriented to public relations: he will take care of relations with the Federation and the Volleyball League, will facilitate the arrival of new sponsors, will be part of B2B events and other ad hoc occasions and will attend training and home matches, continuing to be a lighthouse, albeit from the sidelines, for its toucans.

“Thirty years of volleyball cannot be canceled out – admits Ciso -: it is like a great love that, unlike a career, does not end. After seven seasons spent in Brescia with mutual respect, I believe that deciding to stay in the world of volleyball alongside those who are friends and companions of important years is an almost natural step. I will continue to do more or less what I have always done: try to be of help and support to the technical staff and the team, to be present and available, only from today I will do it without being on the pitch! The goal is to continue to accompany the growth of the volleyball movement around the company of the Zambonardi family, maintaining the commitment and quality that I have shared with them in my last years as a player. “
