The setter got the pace of a team, and it is for this reason that ShedirPharma Sorrento ensures the performance of a prospective playmaker, who alongside Alessandro Bellucci can only continue his growth path as regards technical-tactical and team management. 20 years old just a few months ago, but already on his shoulders an important technical baggage to be refined and perfected. Hard temper, of those who have been “in the field” to roll up their sleeves in an epic team effort, to contain and stem the consequences of the flood that hit his Conselice hard just over a month ago.
His volleyball adventure began right from the small town in the province of Ravenna, but his talent did not go unnoticed and soon fate took him to the capital of Romagna, where Consar is now a solid consolidated reality in Serie A.
The debut in the SuperLega was not long in coming, and what’s more it came in a match that was never banal like the historic derby against Modena.
In 2020 he was called up to the Under 18 national team, then in the summer of 2022 his first experience outside the region among the ranks of Aversa in Serie A3, where he collected 19 points (16 blocks) in 20 games, immediately leaving his mark in the category.

You were in the Ravenna group in SuperLega, with the joy of being called up to the U18 national team. How exciting was it to live in important environments, and how important was it for your growth?
“Working for 7 years in Ravenna was a beautiful and totally different experience compared to the past. I started playing in my town of about 9,000 inhabitants called Conselice, and all of a sudden I found myself having to get used to a decidedly higher pace. The experience in the national team was certainly a great satisfaction, but now I’m charged up and ready to start again for this new adventure.”
In Aversa in a complicated year, you managed to carve out your space in the control room, making an important contribution even on the wall. What is the balance of your experience?
“Despite the league’s performance, my balance was positive: I made my debut, then played several games as a starter which allowed me to touch the world of Serie A3 first hand. In addition, training with high-level players was important. There will also be many in Sorrento, so I can’t wait to get started”.
