SIECO’s new adventure, fresh from its promotion in A2, can finally be said to have begun. Welcomed by a large group of fans and numerous local journalists, the Impavida with license plate 2023/2024 met for the resumption of activities. Smiling faces and handshakes to embrace old companions and to get to know the new grafts that will give life to what promises to be a real battle at the last point. Coach Nunzio Lanci shares the same opinion: «Serie A2 lacks the so-called “buffer teams”. There are those four, five teams built with the aim of winning and the others battling it out, some more, some less to get close to the first ones. Our goal is to reach the safety quota as soon as possible. Will it be hard? Sure it will. But as it will be for no it will be for all. No need to make calculations, then. Our mantra must be “to score points at any cost”, regardless of the opponents we will face. The most important thing, even more important than victories and defeats is the smile», added Nunzio Lanci. «We must never and I never lose our smile because it is only in this way that we can express ourselves at our best and overcome even the obstacles that at first glance seem bigger than us».
