Two consecutive victories, high morale and feet on the ground. ABBA Pineto, who resumed work on Tuesday at the Pala Santa Maria, kept their level of concentration high, of course, but they looked each other in the eye with a lighter heart: the six points were the result of the successes against Consar Ravenna (3-0) and Conad Reggio Emilia (3-1) capitalized on the double home round and allowed Di Silvestre and his teammates to jump to eighth place. However, the calendar does not allow any breaks and so next December 8th, Sunday, at 5.30pm we return to the away match, with the calendar saying matchday 11 and Pala San Filippo for the match against Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia.
A match that was anything but simple, in fact very complicated for the blue and whites. Brescia is second, -1 behind Tinet Prata of Pordenone and with a track record of seven victories in 10 games. There’s more, because the Lombards have never finished without points, always reaching at least the tie break even in lost matches.
At ABBA Pineto, central defender Luca Presta preaches maximum concentration: «I believe that the two good results against Ravenna and Reggio Emilia are the consequence of the work done in the gym during these weeks. We are training well, with intensity and we only have to think about this. The victories are already behind us, let’s think about the present and this away match in Brescia. It will be a tough match on a very complicated pitch. The opponent? We think about Pineto, about our training sessions, about our half of the pitch. We are facing a process of gradual growth, which goes from game to game. Let’s think about ourselves.
