We are almost there. The Grottazzolina Palasport will host the last seasonal trophy dedicated to Serie A2: on Sunday 19 May, in fact, with kick-off at 7pm, the Del Monte® Supercoppa will be staged, an event organized by the Serie A Volleyball League and the host club Yuasa Battery M&G Volleyball School, with the patronage of the Municipality of Grottazzolina and the Marche Regional Council. Now in its fourth edition, the competition involves the winners of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A2, i.e. Consoli Sferc Brescia, and the top finishers at the end of the Serie A2 Regular Season. Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, however, wanted to exaggerate, and in addition to having closed the regular season in first place with five points ahead of its closest pursuers (Cuneo and Siena), it then obtained a historic and unforgettable promotion to the Super League at the end of an exciting journey to the playoffs. Both teams are looking for their first success in this competition in A2, with the team from the Marche region which will however try to grab its second Super Cup, after the Serie A3 one in 2022, always played within friendly walls and with many performers still on staff . The Palasport of Grottazzolina, therefore, is preparing for the last match of the Serie A2 season, returning to the tricolor pitch after two years with the certainty that, whatever the final result, it will be a great spectacle both for the fans in the stands and for distant spectators who want to follow the match on TV.

Pre-sales recorded so far have been booming, with over 500 tickets sold compared to the thousand total capacity of the Grotese facility. With the presence already confirmed of the President of the Marche Region Acquaroli, there is great excitement in the area for the last match of a memorable season, so much so that the Fermo club has put a further 100 tickets on sale, originally reserved for fans from Brescia who however have decided not to follow the team to the Marche for the last event of the season.

The Grottazzolina public celebrates
The Lombard team, however, will still try everything in their power to ruin the party for the hosts, on the wings of the enthusiasm of the success recorded in Cuneo in the Italian Cup just seven days ago.
