With the official call-ups from coach Ferdinando De Giorgi, Fabio Balaso, Mattia Bottolo, and Giovanni Gargiulo are now confirmed to participate in the VNL 2025 Finals, scheduled for July 30th to August 3rd in Ningbo, China. The three Lube players will give their all for the Italian national team after finishing the three stages of the international tournament in second place with 10 wins and 28 points. In the Quarterfinals, Italy will face Cuba in a single match on Wednesday July 30th, at 9:00 a.m. Italian time, the latter being seventh after a run of 6 wins and 20 points.
The 14 Italian athletes who will be the protagonists of the expedition will gather in Rome tomorrow, Thursday 24 July, to participate in the training camp scheduled at the ‘Giulio Onesti’ Olympic Training Centre in view of their departure for Asia.
