Not just training, but also social commitment for Avimecc Modica, which yesterday began the second week of preparation for the Serie A3 championship, which begins at the end of next month.

The group is alternating gym work with aerobics, as well as technical sessions that will help refine the mechanics of coach Enzo Distefano’s starting six.

The entire roster available to the coaching staff is working hard to improve their physical condition and, above all, to become a close-knit team as quickly as possible, ready to battle on the field.

“Although preparation started a little later than originally planned,” explains athletic trainer Corrado Randazzo (pictured), “I found the group to be quite well-prepared. The first week went very well. The boys showed great intensity, which allowed us to work with fairly heavy workloads right from the start, developing both aerobic and strength training in the gym. We’re really pleased with how the first week of training went. We still have several weeks to get to the official start of the season, and we’re managing them as best we can.
