Sport director completed a shrewd move by securing the services of Israel Rodriguez. The Spanish International Spiker had already played in the Puglia region, two years ago in Taranto, and with the same coach, Radames Lattari. Born in Sevilla in August 1981, he won the Spanish king’s cup with Almeria in 2007 as well as the Spanish super cup. He tallied 130 caps with his national team with which he won the European Championship 2007 under the orders of Italy’s current coach, Andrea Anastasi. He played last season in Greece, at Patras.
