With Mantova and Macerata winter champions of their respective groups, the first leg of the Serie A3 Credem Banca Regular Season ends between tomorrow, Saturday 23 December, and Tuesday 26 December. The Boxing Day ranking not only serves to draw an intermediate balance of a season with a high competitive rate, but is fundamental for the composition of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Serie A3 grid. The top four teams from each group will compete in the quarter-finals. Any cross-matches between teams from the White and Blue Groups will only take place from the Semi-finals onwards. Two out of four teams have already qualified in one group: Gabbiano Mantova and Personal Time San Donà di Piave. In the other Banca Macerata already has the pass, Smartsystem Fano would only need one point or a misstep from their pursuers. There is a fight for the last available places.
