Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia is in the CEV Champions League Final: the first Semifinal, the opening act of the Final Four in Lodz (Poland) rewards the Block Devils, capable of winning in three sets against the Turkish team Halkbank Ankara. A match that saw the sets end with the teams very close to each other in the score, but with Perugia always able to win the partials: top scorer of the challenge Yuki Ishikawa, who finished with 20 total points. At Perugia, double figures also for Ben Tara (14); among the Turks trained by Stoytchev, however, only Leal (13) and Kooy (12) have exceeded 10 points.
To find out their opponent in Sunday’s Final, Sir Sicoma Monini will have to wait for Saturday’s match between JSW Jastrzebski Wegiel and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, who will give life to the Polish derby. The final act of the competition is scheduled for Sunday, with live coverage on Sky and DAZN at 8.05pm.
