All set at the Atlas Arena in Łódź where the Champions League Final Four will start tomorrow! Today was an intense day for the Block Devils who had a work session in the weight room in the morning and training on the taraflex of the Atlas Arena in the afternoon. During the day there were numerous appointments and meetings with the international press when we are now on the eve of the event that is catalyzing the media attention. In the late morning the coaches and captains of the four teams protagonists of this Final Four attended the press conference to officially present these three days, in the presence of the highest authorities of the European Volleyball Confederation, starting with the President of the CEV, Mr. Roko Sikiric.
Simone Giannelli:
«It is a pleasure for us to be here because the Cev Champions League is a great competition and it is difficult to get to the Final Four. We are therefore happy to be here, but we know that we will face a very strong team in the semifinals. We will try to win the title for the first time in the history of Perugia. I myself have played two finals but I have never won the Champions League. The level is very high, as is normal in these competitions, we want to play our volleyball and enjoy this event, because playing in Poland is very nice because there is a very warm audience and there is a great culture of volleyball».
