The opposite hitter from the Marche region, who turned 25 two days ago, on Saturday 5 July, has two years in A3 behind him, in Grottazzolina, with a championship victory and Super Cup, and in Lecce, and a season in A2 in Cuneo. Last season he played in B in Monticelli d’Ongina

With Federico Giacomini, who turned 25 two days ago, on Saturday 5 July, Consar completes its roster for the next A2 championship. In the Ravenna team Giacomini will play the opposite role together with Dimitrov. Born in Recanati, resident in Castelfidardo, with a youth career developed between Pallavolo Loreto, Volley 79 Civitanova and Volley Potentino, Giacomini then made his debut in A3 in the 2021/22 season in Grottazzolina, immediately winning the championship and Super Cup. Then the move, still in A3, to Lecce, to Aurispa Libellula and subsequently the debut in A2 in Cuneo. Last season he played in the B championship with Canottieri Monticelli d’Ongina.
“I find myself in A2, in another noble and history-filled place, and I thank the club for the trust it has given me – explains Giacomini -. When, two years ago, I came to Ravenna as an opponent I immediately perceived that I was in a very passionate environment and I immediately saw an excellent sporting climate. I am putting myself back into the game in a higher category with the aim of carving out my own space and taking a further step forward in my sporting and personal growth”.
