The battle between the two protagonists of the 2025/26 Credem Banca Serie A3 continues. Following the Del Monte® Coppa Italia Final won by Reggio Calabria in Belluno, and awaiting the Del Monte® Supercoppa A3 Final, scheduled for Sunday, April 19th (5:00 PM) at the PalaBigi, Domotek Reggio Calabria and Conad Reggio Emilia will meet again on Sunday, March 29th (6:00 PM) at the PalaCalafiore for Game 2 of the Credem Banca Serie A3 Promotion Playoff Final. The best-of-five series sees the Emilians prevail, having won 3-1 at home in the first round.

Domotek Reggio Calabria and Conad Reggio Emilia are currently tied. The winner of the Blue Group clinched the Italian Cup with a privateer tie-break victory, while the White Group winners partially redeemed themselves by winning the first match of the series to advance to the next division. To truly dream of returning to Serie A2, the Reggio Emilia team must win two more games. The Calabrian team, however, has a chance to equalize and extend the series by taking advantage of home court advantage. This is the first meeting at the PalaCalafiore between the two teams. The difference in Game 1 was made by the 22 points from an unstoppable Riccardo Mian (38 points under 500 for the season and 8 points under 1,500 in Serie A3) and a large service gap (7 aces to 0 for Conad), with Domotek shutting down from nine meters. On one hand, Enrico Lazzaretto is one game away from scoring 300 points in his career and eight points away from scoring 400 for the season, while on the other, Rocco Barone is 16 points away from scoring 300 in the playoffs.
