Diego Cantagalli concludes his career with Rinascita Lagonegro after two seasons as a key player in the red and white jersey.
Having arrived in Basilicata in the summer of 2024, the opposite hitter chose to embrace president Nicola Carlomagno’s vision, making a significant contribution to the club’s return to Serie A2 Credem Banca. In the 2024/25 season, which culminated in promotion, Cantagalli finished as the league’s top scorer with 414 points, totaling 579 goals (between the regular season and playoffs).
His performance in the season just ended was also impressive: despite some physical issues that limited his consistency, the red and white striker still scored 512 points, confirming his position as one of the team’s key attacking players.
Diego’s time with the Rinascita jersey thus comes to an end: 57 appearances, 32 wins, and 1,091 points overall, numbers that testify to his significant contribution to the Club’s growth over the last two seasons.
