Experience and leadership at the service of the team. Vero Volley Monza welcomes libero Nicola Pesaresi, a new addition to the Brianza roster. Fresh from two championships with Itas Trentino, the 35-year-old brings technical skills, poise, and a deep understanding of the SuperLega. He has played thirteen seasons in the top division, a career that has seen him play for various national teams. His trophy cabinet also includes a significant success with the Italian national team: a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in 2013 with the Italian national team.
For Pesaresi, a libero originally from the Marche region, joining Vero Volley Monza represents a new professional challenge, one he is ready to tackle with enthusiasm and motivation. “The desire to continue playing at the highest levels,” he comments, “led me to accept the call from Vero Volley, a club whose professionalism, structure, and organization I have always recognized.” He continued: “I’m very happy and excited, especially curious about the next championship. I’ll try to give my best, on and off the pitch, as I think I always have. We more experienced players will try to be a good point of reference for the younger players on the team, but it’s still too early to say what kind of championship ours will be. The idea is to try to be as competitive as possible. We’ll need to put in great dedication and determination in our daily work, combined with the pursuit of a good team spirit.”
