With the first week of the Volleyball Nations League behind them, the Azzurri will meet again starting Thursday, June 18th, in Cavalese, in the province of Trento, to prepare for Week 2 of the VNL, scheduled for Ljubljana, Slovenia, from June 24th to 28th.

The Azzurri enjoyed a positive first week of the VNL in Canada: three wins (against Germany 3-1, Turkey 3-0, and the United States 3-2) and one tie-break loss in their opening match against France.

Five players from Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will take part in the training camp in Cavalese, which concludes on June 21st: middle blocker Gianluca Galassi will be the first to arrive in Val di Fiemme. Starting Friday, the Azzurri returning from the first week of VNL matches will be joined by opposite hitter Alessandro Bovolenta, middle blocker Francesco Comparoni, libero Domenico Pace, and setter Paolo Porro.

On Sunday, June 21st, the 14 Italian players who will participate in Week 2 of the Volleyball Nations League, scheduled for June 24th to 28th in Ljubljana, will be announced.
