Premier Hotels Crema: The Finals series has started for Crema with a Tiebreak loss in Gioia. Despite the loss the match has been well played by Luca Monti’s team that now has to immidiately focus on Game 2 scheduled next Saturday in Crema.
First set is very tight until Divis serving round gives to Gioia the first break (12-8). Immidiate Crema reaction with Cazzaniga and Egeste 13-11. Towards the end of the set is Gioia to score the final break and wins 25-21 the partial.
In the second set Premier starts better. Blocks and defense works better so that Cazzaniga and teammates can score a +4 break. The advantage will result crucial because starting from 6-13 the set will go on point to point and Crema will close it 16-25.
Third set starts like the second. Crema goes ahead 3-5 but then the match turns tight again up to the 12-12. First break is for Gioia 19-16. Crema fights back with Cazzaniga and Yoko but Gioia stays ahead 21-18 and 23-20. Crema strongly react with Yoko serves and the Blues tie the set up 24-24. Great emotions again until 28-28 when Divis and Batez are able to score two points and give the set to Gioia.
In the fourth set Cazzaniga serves give Gioia some trouble and after the first time out Crema is ahead 6-8. Crema keeps playing very well and after the second time out is ahead 10-16. The set ends 19-25 for Crema and the teams are ready for the tiebreak
Fifth set is like the rest of the match: very tight. First break for Gioia: 7-5 and 8-6. From now Gioia scores the final break and ends the match 15-10
