Fifth consecutive success this season and another great match played by SP TTTLines Catania, more and more of a start of the Seria A2 championship.
The team won 3-a in Spoleto (23-25; 25-18; 18-25; 21-25), in a palasport packed with local supporters, climbing the standings with 16 points.
Pres. Gitto’s team is now alone at the top, given Isernia’s defeat (with whome they shared the leadership) in Castellana Grotte.
“The whole team has been perfect”, are Hugo Conte’s first words at the end of the match, “we have only had a negatinve moment at the end of the second set, the rest went wonderfully”.
Conte is right in complimenting his players. Koch is a great setter with blocking and scoring abilities. Trimarchi is probably the best libero of this championship (86% pos. digging against Spoleto). Moro and Desiderio are never a disappointment, guaranteeing precious points, concentration and attitude.
Zaccareo is now a pillar in the middle (9 points in the match). Quiroga is a young international player.
Crema is the only team behind them with 15 points then Loreto and Isernia with 13.
SP TTTLines is playing in Verona on sunday.
“It is going to be a very hard match – admits the coach – they have been put together to be promoted to the A1, while our goal is still safety.
But I know that we can do well there. The boys are having a great season so far”.
