At PalaValentia last night, an atmosphere of commotion, witnessing the enthusiasm Tonno Callipo has raised in the whole region.
The teams extraordinary success has filled the whole of Calabria with joy and not only the sport world that filled PalaValentia yesterday.
Round after round, point after point, between a thousand difficulties, the so desired goal has turned into a wonderful reality.
A group of players, with the right dose of humility and plenty of determination, excellently led by serious and conpetent technical staff members such as Travica and Torchio, have conquered a goal of great value again, for the city and a region searching for revenge, wanting to legitimate its ambitions of growth and development.
This is a great result that proves the validity of the technical choices and the constant and intense work carried out by the club on all levels.
A strong emotion which we will never forget and that took over the whole city with a Club and a team that once again have won their biggest bet: getting thousands of peole, entire families, to a healthy sport such as volleyball.
A Club made of serious and passionate people, with a President that in a few years have projected the city and the entire province to the national stage.
Sport gets people closer… that is the other miracle of Voley Tonno Callipo: each match has been a chance to be together, in solidarity and often a social event; a place to confront and respect eachother, to put competition forward, merit, sacrifice of young and old, integrity and respect for the opponent.
We have taken this dream back and it belongs to thousands of supporters now. Calabria, the Club, the Institution will have the task to safeguard it and preserve it now!
