Vincenzo Nacci has been appointed Taranto’s assistant coach. Born in the same region, in Ostuni, Vincenzo started off in the youth department of his hometown before moving to Taranto in 2001-02. He also worked in feminine volleyball with Ostuni and San Pietro Vernotico. He came back to men’s volley in 2005 with Corigliano, where he was in charge of the youth department and was then named Giuliani’s assistant. Last year, his experience as head coach, still in Corigliano, did not last long as the club faced great financial difficulties and couldn’t take part in the championship.
“I can’t deny that I am proud to have been called to work with Taranto” said Montagnani’s new assistant.
