Banca Macerata Fisiomed continues to build its future by focusing on talented and promising young players: Gabriele Zillio, a Venetian winger, has officially joined the roster, completing the red and whites’ spikers for the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A2 season after Frage, Randazzo, and Plaskie.
This is a significant investment by the club, confirming its commitment to developing young players ready to embark on a growth path within a competitive, relaxed, and ambitious environment. Gabriele, born in Veneto in 2007, perfectly embodies this vision: a determined athlete with high-level training experience (Kioene Padova’s youth academy) and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
“What drove me to choose Macerata was definitely the opportunity to compete with high-level players and the opportunity to find an environment that would allow me to grow,” Zillio begins, acknowledging that he doesn’t have a leading role. “I expect a season that will help me improve significantly, both technically and personally. I want to learn as much as possible, put myself out there, and always be available to the team.”
